Privacy Policy
Summa OS Inc DBA NeMT Engine, provider of NEMT Engine ("we", "us"). Effective date: October 4, 2026. Use of this website, the NEMT Engine service, or its underlying infrastructure (booking pages, embeds, phone lines, SMS and APIs) constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
What this covers
NeMT Engine is a booking, dispatch and payments platform for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) operators. This policy explains what information we collect when operators, their staff, riders and facilities use our website, booking pages and phone services, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Operator account information. Business name, business and garage addresses, contact name, email address, phone number, and billing details.
- Trip details. Rider name, pickup and drop-off addresses, appointment times, mobility needs (for example wheelchair or stretcher), access notes, payer information and trip pricing.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store full card numbers on our systems; Stripe provides us with limited payment status and identifiers.
- Phone numbers for SMS. Mobile numbers provided on booking forms, staff onboarding or recorded intake calls, used to send trip-related text messages as described below.
- Call data. Calls to companies using NeMT Engine may be recorded, and callers hear "This call may be recorded for quality and service." at the start of the call. Recordings are stored by our telephony provider, are available only to authorized staff of the company you called, and are used for service quality, dispute resolution and record keeping. Call transcripts may be processed by AI language-model providers to generate summaries for operators.
- Usage data. Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
- To create, price, schedule and dispatch rides.
- To send ride-request confirmations and updated ride-price approval links.
- To process subscription, messaging and rider payments through Stripe.
- To route and answer phone calls with our voice assistant and provide transcription.
- To provide support, prevent fraud and comply with law.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share phone numbers or opt-in records with third parties for marketing purposes.
SMS messaging
When you opt in, we use your mobile number only for transactional ride-request confirmation and price-update texts:
- Ride-request confirmations.
- Updated ride-price approval links.
No marketing or reminders by text. Consent is optional, and the booking-form checkbox is unchecked by default.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
- No phone numbers or opt-in data are shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at contact@nemtengine.com or (943) 230-0955.
Third-party processors
We rely on trusted providers to run the service. They process data only on our instructions:
- Stripe — payment processing (subscription billing, rider payments and deposits).
- Telnyx — phone numbers, voice calls and SMS message delivery.
- Resend — transactional email such as booking confirmations and account sign-up.
- Mapbox — driving-distance calculation for fare quotes.
- Google — address lookup and geocoding to resolve pickup and drop-off locations.
- AI language-model (LLM) providers — process call transcripts to generate short call summaries for operators, only on our instructions.
Data retention and deletion
We keep trip, payment and account records for as long as an operator's account is active and as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Calls answered by our phone answering service are recorded by our telephony provider. Callers are told the call may be recorded where the company has turned on that notice. Call recordings are kept for 90 days and then permanently deleted, and the company you called may delete a recording sooner; this is shorter than our standard record-keeping period. Transcripts are not stored by us; AI summaries are kept with the call record.
Operators may request deletion of their account and associated personal data by contacting us; we will delete what we are not legally required to keep. Riders who receive trip messages from an operator can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or ask us to remove their number.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. We grant staff and systems access only on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect personal information using industry-standard practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
